Refund Policy
Last updated: July 27, 2026
This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available for TruceIT Tech subscription packages, add-ons, and related fees. It should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions. If anything here is unclear, contact us before purchasing and we’ll be glad to walk you through it.
1. Monthly Subscription Packages
Professional Website and Business + E-Commerce subscriptions are billed monthly, in advance.
First billing cycle — satisfaction window
If you cancel within the first 7 days of your first billing cycle and our team has not yet begun development work on your website (i.e. onboarding is incomplete or development has not started), you are eligible for a full refund of that first payment. This window exists to let you back out risk-free before any design or development labor has gone into your project.
Once development has begun
Once our designers have begun building your website — whether that’s inside or outside the 7-day window — we are unable to offer a refund for that billing cycle, as design and development time has already been committed. You may still cancel at any time to stop future billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and your site and dashboard access remain available through that date.
Subsequent billing cycles
Refunds are not provided for partial months on subscriptions that have already renewed. If you no longer want the Service, cancel before your next renewal date to avoid being billed again.
2. Add-Ons
One-time add-ons
One-time add-on purchases (for example, logo design, a branding package, or business card design) are refundable only if work has not yet started on that specific add-on. Once a designer has begun work on a one-time add-on, it is considered non-refundable, as with development work under Section 1.
Recurring add-ons
Recurring add-ons billed monthly (for example, live chat, an AI chatbot, or priority support) follow the same billing-cycle logic as subscription packages: cancel any time to stop future charges, but the current billing cycle is not refunded once the add-on has been activated on your account.
3. Domain & Hosting Registration Costs
Domain name registrations, once purchased or renewed, are generally non-refundable. This is standard across the domain registration industry, since registrars charge registration fees upfront to secure a domain name on your behalf regardless of whether you continue to use it. Hosting costs included in your subscription are covered under Section 1 above; any separately billed hosting upgrades follow the same non-refundable-once-provisioned principle.
4. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:
- Accounts terminated for violating our Acceptable Use Policy or Terms & Conditions.
- Dissatisfaction with a design choice that falls within the revisions process rather than a service failure — please use your monthly revisions or additional-revision credits to request changes first.
- Failure to provide content, feedback, or approvals needed to complete a project (see our Service Agreement for client responsibilities).
- Requests made after the applicable window described above has closed.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, submit a support ticket from your client dashboard or email hello@truceit.com with your account email and the reason for your request. We aim to review refund requests and respond within a few business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via our payment processor and may take several business days to appear on your statement.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this page and apply to purchases made after the change takes effect.
