Checking your website health and backups
Last updated: September 3, 2026
Hosting, SSL, daily backups, and security monitoring are part of your monthly Hosting & Maintenance fee. The Website Health section of your client dashboard lets you see that work happening rather than take it on trust.
What the health section shows
- Online status and uptime. Whether your site is reachable right now, and its recent uptime. Our hosting targets 99.9% uptime.
- SSL certificate. Your site's HTTPS certificate is issued and renewed for you; the status shows whether it is active, expiring soon, or needs attention.
- Last backup. Your site is backed up daily. The timestamp of the most recent backup is shown here.
- Storage used. How much of your hosting storage your site occupies.
- Page speed score. A periodic performance check of your live site.
- Security status. The result of the most recent security scan.
If something looks wrong
A site reported offline, an SSL status other than active, or a backup that is more than a day old is exactly what support tickets are for. Submit a ticket describing what you see and we will investigate. Hosting and security issues caused on our side are handled as part of your plan, not counted against your design requests.
Restoring from a backup
If you need content restored from a previous day, for example after an accidental deletion in the content editor, open a ticket with the date you want to return to and what was lost. We will restore from the daily backup closest to that date.
